Working at Height Awareness
Course Objectives
To provide candidates with an understanding of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 which applies to all work at Height and on practical solutions to comply with this legislation and covers all industries.
Course Content
Candidates will be shown theory and practical aspects covering:
● Work at Height Regulations 2005.
● Appreciation of fall hazards.
● Working at height risk assessments.
● Method Statements.
● Flat and sloping roofs safety.
● Fragile roof safety.
● Risk control measures.
● Rescue procedures.
Who should attend - Any person who plans work at height or is responsible for conducting relevant risk assessments. Includes reference to basic activities such as using stepladders for short duration jobs.
Assessment -
Candidates will complete a written assessment at the end of the course. Candidates will need to achieve a pass mark of 22 marks out of a possible 30 in order to pass the following course.
Please note: All our courses are delivered in English. All delegates must have a good understanding of written and spoken English to attend this course.
A Certificate of Training will be awarded to each successful candidate.
