Fire Extinguisher Use
To provide candidates with basic training in the use of a Fire Extinguisher in-conjunction with a live flame.
● Theory of combustion - The basic combustion theory including the fire triangle principals.
● Use of fire fighting equipment do’s and don’ts of fire fighting, and limitations of portable fire fighting equipment.
● Classes of fire & fire extinguishers - Classes A, B, C, D, E & F fires and the correct extinguishing media.
Who should attend - This course is designed for anyone who does not need to be specifically trained in a Fire Marshal role but forms part of the fire party of their designated workplace or who has control of contractors i.e. Hot Works Procedures.
Assessment - Candidates will be practically assessed at the end of the course and complete a short test.
Please note: All our courses are delivered in English. All delegates must have a good understanding of written and spoken English to attend this course.
A Certificate of Training will be awarded to each successful candidate.
